Old Standard TT Font Family

Old Standard TT is a serif font that recreates the style of Modern (classicist). This font was popular during its time, however later abandoned due to other font styles becoming more prominent. Old Standard offers two key advantages.

Typography in the humanities and social sciences benefits greatly from using modern fonts (e.g. Times). Such fonts provide close emulation of books they read. When it comes to typesetting scientific papers in these disciplines, “modern” designs (such as Times) work best.
