Gentium Book Basic Font Family

Gentium Book Basic font Family is an adaptation to the classic Gentium style with additional weights. This font family consists of standard font, bold font and bold italic font styles.

Fonts designed specifically to support less characters are much smaller than standard Gentium Plus fonts. “Basic fonts” may only be used with Basic Latin Unicode ranges, Latin-1 Supplement Unicode characters and some of the most frequently used Extended Latin characters – in addition to punctuation marks, symbols and diacritical marks.

These fonts do not support Latin IPA or Central European languages in their entirety, nor Greek and Cyrillic characters. For more information, visit Gentium Project’s website.
