Rajdhani conforms with both the Latin and Devanagari scripts and has been modularized meanwhile. The font’s appearance is squared away to give an overall feel of apparent technicality-possibly even futuristic. Bowls are generally round, although Rajdhani retains the straight sides in other letter shape elements.
The terminals of strokes are typically flat line segments that run horizontally or vertically, but never diagonally. They have slightly rounded corners and their flat ends have a soft and almost rounded feel; neither is it hard nor does the stroke stop on its own like some sort of sharp punctuation mark.
The Latin font was designed by Shiva Nalleperumal. Satya Rajpurohit and Jyotish Sonowal worked together to create the Devanagari component.
