Gordita, a sans-serif minimal typeface with geometric elements and contemporary details has produced a friendly typeface which is optically balanced.
Gordita was designed with both Futura and Gotham’s harmonious and structural strokes in mind. Optic compensation has been used to make forms appear more natural and geometric. Joints have been tapered slightly for maximum legibility while ink traps were made heavier weight to ensure legibility is maximized.
Gordita was tested both digitally and printed at various point sizes. OpenType features of Gordita include alternate glyphs as well as fractions, case-sensitive forms, small figures and symbols – in addition to tabular and old-style figures – making this font family unique in terms of versatility.
