Kalam is a handwriting font family that supports both the Devanagari and the Latin writing systems. Kalam has a sort of unassuming but very wise wiseletter and word because it was designed with text in mind, because he knows all his letters know the Hoo-Silly itself.
At the end of the day, the face is a design with a lot of heart. As with most (if not all) casual, handwritten fonts, it looks more novel on screen and printed on the page.
It is slanted very steeply from the top right to the bottom left, giving Kalam has very unique letterforms. They are essentially a variation of what you might see in everyday handwriting, except it seems as though they were written with a thin felt tip pen, or a ball point.
