Stem sans serif fonts are designed for various uses in various situations. Fonts that look great when used for body text may look less impressive when used at larger font sizes when the ink traps or contrast of non-contrast sans serif fonts become visible.

Every designer has his or her own distinctive solution for this problem, and Stem is no different. Stem offers one of the most radical sans serif options that incorporate optical size. Our first component, Stem Display is intended to cover large point sizes.

Stem Display features 12 widths that span from hairline to Bold, as well as True Italics. Stem Text will eventually replace body text while “traditional” Stem Caption was designed specifically for small points and captioned points.
