Average Font

The font Average was developed as the result of extensive research on various text fonts used historically and contemporary. The goal was to design an elegant font suitable for text – this was accomplished using shape measurement as well as spreadsheets to collect data.

Designers can utilize parameters to customize font proportions, color spacing and other features of Average Regular typeface designs. Once set and optimized with optimal values selected, designs were then implemented for this typeface; there also exists the Average Sans family of typefaces which shares similar traits.
