Baumans Font

Designed as geometric, Baumans is most useful for headlines. It was based on ordinary letter styles and Bauhaus typefaces with a hint of preconstructivist letter forms. This illustrates Moholy-Nagy’s statement from the typography statement that type is to be uncomplicated, easy to read and say its thing.

MVW has sharp corners, a triangular Z, and monolinear weight, with slightly more balanced widths and one case of N that is unicase in form. Baumans is for medium to large sizes, screen optimized.
