IBM Plex Serif Font Family

IBM Plex Serif is a family of typefaces designed by Mike Abbink and Bold Monday – an independent Dutch type foundry – to express IBM’s spirit and history while showing how people and computers coexist within society – an idea at the forefront of IBM’s thinking since 1900.

Plex is a neutral yet inviting Grotesque typeface featuring Sans, Sans Condensed, Mono, and Serif characters that combine to provide highly legible fonts that work on mobile, print and website interfaces. Each individual style works well individually; however, when combined they produce even greater effect.

Use Sans to add a contemporary aesthetic, Serif for editorial pieces and Mono to display code bits. Italics’ expressive capabilities open up endless possibilities in design projects.
