Netflix was launched with two partners in 1997: Marc Bernays Randolph and Wilmot Reed Hastings Jr. It rents movies and TV shows out for rental as well as offering streaming services – it currently serves 190 countries globally from its California base.
Netflix uses Graphique, initially created by Hermann Eidenbenz in 1945 and digitalized and extended by Ralph M. Unger in 1978, for their trademark logo.
