Oswald is an updated rendition of Alternate Gothic’s traditional sans serif font design, originally modified to fit within digital screen pixels grids and digital screens on desktop, laptop and mobile devices. Oswald can be used with all web browsers on all types of devices: PCs, laptops and mobile.
Since 2011, Oswald has been regularly updated by Vernon Adams until 2014. Vernon added both Lightweight and Daring weights, support for additional Latin languages, tightened spacing, kerning and refined many glyphs based on user feedback. Kalapi Gajjar, Alexei Vanyashin and Vernon completed Vernon’s work by supporting languages which utilize Cyrillic alphabet.
