Play Font Family

Play was created by Jonas Hecksher when he was Type Director at Playtype Type Foundry. All of Play’s letters derive from what Hecksher calls “O elastic square and round at the same time.”

Play has large, open counters; amply sized lowercase x-heights; a corporate, but warm look; The blend of virtues means that Play is both highly readable and legible.
