PT Sans Caption Font

PT Sans were created for the project “Public Types of Russian Federation.” The PT Serif, that’s the second family of the project is also available. The fonts are free to be circulated under a libre license, this is the main goal of the project: to allow people to write in their native languages and have types that can do so at affordable prices.

The project was dedicated to the 300 year anniversary of Peter the Great’s civil typefaces that he originally had made in 1708–1710. It was financially supported by the Russian Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.

The fonts contain standard western, central European and Cyrillic code pages with characters from every title language in the Russian Federation. This makes them one of the most necessary and valuable tools of modern digital communication available today as luck would have it.
