Shrikhand currently supports the Gujarati and Latin writing systems. The name, เชถเซเชฐเซเชเชเชก, is a delectable creamy Gujarati dessert and a personal favourite of the designer, Jonny Pinhorn . In the three or four years leading up to the birth of this font in June 2015, Jonny lived in Ahmedabad, Gujarat; India working for the Indian Type Foundry. India had a profound effect on his design philosophy and general philosophy during that time. Shrikhand is three years of absorbing knowledge in Gujarat;
of studying the colourful, lively hand-painted lettering seen on street stalls. Itโs a vibrant and unapologetic show type that developed from conversations with friends about how beautiful the Gujarati script looks when it goes berserk and allows all the curves and mischief they wish.
