Halant is a multilingual font family developed by Indian Type Foundry that supports both Devanagari and Latin scripts. First released as Open Source fonts by Indian Type Foundry in 2014, Halant font family is available on both platforms as Open Source font.
Vivek Sadamate and Ninad Kaled created the Devanagari symbols which comprise Halant. Jonny Pinhorn wrote the Latin text. Halant was first released for public publication by Jonny Pinhorn and the Indian Type Foundry in 2014.
