=”News Cycle’‘ is the latest addition to the family of realist, true italics imovie-like typefaces, as well as being part of a range containing Italic, Bold Italic, Bold, Base Lightface Sans-serif and Bold Condensed Sans-serif–all conceivedso that designers can have multiple choices in a single package, small though it may be. Like the italic version, the uprighttravel-oriented ” Lightface Sans-serif’, was designed to appear in or near that particular navy blue color of indoor lighting within either booklets or on signs announcing terminals at airports. Although all five members of this family are practically identical in their proportions and general look, they are used in different ways.

News Gothic is also a feature of the news landscape, but it lacks the classic look of traditional Old Style fonts or the,’ newness’ of Cool Stuff. Nathan Willis, a type designer from Texas, USA, heads this project. He’s also an adjunct lecturer at Texas Tech University.
